# Knowledge Director Runtime Inspector

Open Tools → Director Suite → Runtime Inspectors → Knowledge Director Runtime Inspector to inspect live and dormant Knowledge state. The Inspector is strictly read-only and cannot acquire, suppress, remove, override, or restore runtime records.

Select a runtime context and subject to review facts, evidence, beliefs, confidence, provenance, disclosures, and authority. Search and subject selection only change the viewed snapshot. The Inspector follows PIE/SIE lifecycle changes and clears live selections when the session ends.

Use Tools → Director Suite → Runtime Controls → Knowledge Director Runtime Controls for operations that change live state or apply temporary debug overrides. See Editor Tools for the controls role and baseline consequences.
