1.1.5 - Customer Source and Test Separation

Section titled “1.1.5 - Customer Source and Test Separation”
  • Removed ProbabilityDirector automation and internal fixtures from the customer plugin source; supported API tests now build in a project-level Editor-only module, while private-coupled historical tests remain archived outside UBT modules.
  • Excluded upstream LibSodium tests and development material from the customer plugin while preserving the upstream tree, production Win64 library, required headers, and license and attribution files.
  • Added the existing plugin icon to version control and standardized descriptor version metadata.
  • Probability behavior, deterministic streams, public APIs, Blueprint APIs, and persistence contracts are unchanged.
  • Retired the separately shipped ProbabilityDirectorSaveGameDirectorBridge product and its duplicate in the validation fixture.
  • Documented the optional canonical DirectorBridge integration with IntegrationId Probability.SaveGame.
  • Probability remains standalone; no Probability gameplay, RNG, stream, decision-key, or persistence-state contract changed.
  • Added generic Sequential and Keyed ranked-weighted selection, source-preserving bias composition, structured result/status data, and Blueprint facades as canonical Probability Director capabilities.
  • Reconciled a neutral capability previously present in downstream integration source into the authoritative Probability owner API; no Inventory or other consumer types were added.
  • Corrected deterministic single-outcome validation so stream, mode, seed-source, and DecisionKey requirements are checked even when no random ticket is needed. A valid deterministic result does not advance the Sequential stream or add Keyed state.
  • Kept the private automation test helpers Unity-safe with the additional test translation unit.
  • No persistence-format, existing RNG-authority, or existing persistence-behavior change.

1.1.2 - Development Game and Unity Test Compatibility

Section titled “1.1.2 - Development Game and Unity Test Compatibility”
  • Corrected Resolution Rules automation test compilation for Development Game targets by limiting Editor-only metadata checks to Editor builds. Full property ClampMin / ClampMax and Blueprint WorldContext metadata validation remains covered in Editor targets.
  • Corrected Unity compilation of private Runtime automation test sources by giving colliding test helpers file-specific names; assertions and test semantics are unchanged.
  • No Probability Runtime behavior or RNG algorithm changed.
  • No persistence format, deterministic continuation behavior, RotateOnSave behavior, or anti-save-scumming behavior changed.
  • No public persistence API changed.

Reusable Probability Resolution Rules are now available as additive Runtime Data Assets.

  • Added UProbabilityResolutionRules and UNumericDiceResolutionRules.
  • Added Homogeneous Pipeline, Heterogeneous Expression, and Success Count modes using the existing authoritative dice systems.
  • Added StandardSides / ExplicitNumericFaces authoring with D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, D100, Custom, arbitrary numeric faces, and multiplicity.
  • Added native and WorldContext Blueprint resolution APIs.
  • Added Sequential / Persistent Keyed authoring policy and Inherit / Require Fixed / Require Secure source constraints over existing streams.
  • Added immutable per-call Flat Modifier composition and signed -99..+99 Dice Bias Percent overrides with exact rational composition.
  • Added normal Data Asset validation and conditional authoring behavior.
  • Preserved existing direct APIs, RNG sequences, stream behavior, persistence, Blueprint semantics, Labs, Inspector, Monte Carlo, RNG Health, and Name/Markov behavior.

Initial V1 release of the Probability Director core plugin for Unreal Engine 5.7 on Win64.

  • Random Streams with Secure or Fixed seed sources and Sequential or Keyed decisions.
  • Exact Probability, Dice, and Distribution mathematics, Bias, sampling, and bounded Monte Carlo workflows.
  • Numeric Dice expressions with standard presets, heterogeneous terms, bounded explosions, rerolls, selection, and success-count APIs.
  • Character N-gram Markov and Weighted Syllable Name Models with batch generation support.
  • Native persistence policies including Ephemeral, PersistState, and RotateOnSave.
  • Bounded sanitized diagnostics, advisory warnings, and the read-only multi-PIE Probability Runtime Inspector with Freeze View / Resume Live and exports.
  • Developer Labs for Dice, Coin, Probability, Names, and Distributions, including actual Runtime Stream Samples and continuous sampling.
  • Optional compatible ProbabilityDirectorSaveGameDirectorBridge 1.0.0 companion, distributed separately.
