Probability Director — License Notice

Probability Director is proprietary software distributed as a code plugin through Fab.

For a copy of Probability Director lawfully acquired through Fab, the license rights for that copy are governed by the Fab End User License Agreement (Fab EULA) and the applicable Fab license terms in effect for that acquisition. This file is an informational notice and does not replace, expand, restrict, or amend the Fab EULA.

Per-seat licensing

Probability Director is a code plugin. Under the Fab EULA’s plugin provisions, code plugins are licensed on a per-seat basis.

Each individual who uses Probability Director must be covered by a purchased seat. Internal sharing of plugin source with employees, affiliates, or contractors is permitted only as allowed by the Fab EULA and must not cause use to exceed the number of paid seats.

Use in projects

Subject to the Fab EULA, a licensed user may generally:

Use Probability Director in commercial or non-commercial projects.
Modify or adapt Probability Director for use in those projects.
Incorporate Probability Director into projects and distribute those projects as permitted by the Fab EULA and applicable Unreal Engine terms.
Share the plugin privately with authorized collaborators only within the applicable paid-seat limit and other Fab EULA requirements.

A license to use Probability Director does not transfer ownership of Probability Director or its first-party source code.

Redistribution restrictions

Except as permitted by the Fab EULA, Probability Director may not be:

Resold or redistributed as a standalone plugin.
Published or distributed publicly in source form.
Shared with more users than the number of paid seats.
Sublicensed as a substitute for obtaining the required Fab licenses.

Ownership

TuxedoCat Studio retains all right, title, and interest in the first-party portions of Probability Director, including applicable copyrights and other intellectual-property rights.

Projects created by customers remain the property of their respective owners, subject to the rights in Probability Director and any third-party components incorporated into those projects.

Third-party software

Probability Director includes third-party software. Third-party components are governed by their own licenses and notices, not by TuxedoCat Studio’s proprietary ownership notice.

Controlling terms

For Fab acquisitions, the Fab EULA and applicable Fab marketplace terms control the customer’s license rights. If this informational file conflicts with those controlling terms, the controlling Fab terms govern.
